A winter wedding - Taylor Ollason

I’m just going to start off this blog post by saying how GREAT 2017 has been to me. Not only did I have a kickass year, but I’ve met some of the kindest, most amazing humans. The couples that I have been lucky enough to photograph have turned into friends. Some of which I have met up for coffee with or even just a simple text to say Merry Christmas. I am beyond grateful for every single one of you! Especially my constant blog readers (if there even still are any?!) If you still read these, you are AWESOME. Speaking of awesome….lets just take a minute to talk about my last wedding of this year. I’ve already shared a teaser or two from Emily and Nick’s wedding and that’s because I could not keep it a secret. Emily and I went to high school together and I was SO happy when she texted me saying she wanted hire me to photograph her wedding. It was truly one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve ever had the honor of shooting. Everything from her dress, to the wine cellar (yes, you read that right), to the INSANE floral ceiling piece, blew my mind. I’m going to let these photos speak for themselves and I’ll probably be posting a ton of them over time because I’m obsessed. Emily and Nick, your love shines bright and everyone can see that. I wish you both the happiness that only true love can bring! A very huge thank you to Julia Rivera for assisting me and being my second shooter all day long. Please move to Pittsburgh so I can work with you always!
